About image descriptions
Why image descriptions matter
A short description of what is on the picture helps people who use screen readers or have visual impairments to understand the content. It is also useful when an image fails to load.

Tips for writing a description
- Describe what is actually shown, not what the food tastes like or is called.
- Keep it short — one or two sentences are usually enough.
- You do not have to repeat the dish name; it is already announced separately.
