About EssCalcBot

What the bot does

EssCalc links recipes from selected websites in its recipe search. For each recipe we only keep the title, the ingredient list, the preparation time, the category and the link. We never copy instructions or texts; a click always leads to the original page.

How it behaves

• It identifies itself with this user agent: EssCalcBot/1.0 (+https://esscalc.de/bot)
• It only fetches pages listed in your sitemap and pauses between requests; a Crawl-delay in your robots.txt is respected.
• Known pages are fetched again only when their lastmod changes, otherwise at most every 30 days.
• Pages marked noindex are not included.

How to opt out

Add these lines to your robots.txt. Your recipes are then removed from our search with the next crawl:
